Some stores, including Iceland, are opening and shutting up shops at different times over the festive season.

What are Iceland’s opening hours for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day?
Most Iceland shops usually open around 7am or 8am and close between 7pm to 10pm on weekdays.
This varies depending on which store you visit and what day it is.
Around the festive season, these usual timings will vary.
On Christmas Eve, some shops will be open as early as 7am, but some will close earlier than usual from around 5pm.
On Christmas Day, most stores will close.
What are opening hours for Boxing Day?
Some stores will remain shut on Boxing Day, but some will be open at slightly later times than usual or close earlier.
Shops could open as early as 8am in some cases.
What are the opening hours for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day?
Stores are still running on different opening times this New Year’s Eve, with some closing as early as 5pm.
Last year, most of the supermarket’s stores were open from 7am-6pm.
On New Year’s Day, some stores are closed, with others opening later than usual. For those stores opening, many will open at 9am.
