A SAINSBURY delivery driver claims he’s been sacked after posting a video praising his job – because he swore.
Ollie Tutt had uploaded the selfie clip saying how much he loved working as a delivery driver, describing it as the easiest job in the UK.
He got 3.8 million views on the video sharing social media app.
The 19-year-old said: “If you want an easy job, just go and work at Tesco, Sainsbury and do this delivering s**t.
“It is possibly the easiest job I’ve ever had, the best paying job I’ve ever had and I actually get looked after.
“I don’t do much, I just sit on the side of the road waiting to do these drops.
“All the customer are f******g lovely and haven’t had an occasion where they have been an a******e.”
He went on and added: “Don’t work in the store though, that’s s**t and boring.
“Seriously if you wanna do an easy job just do this.”
The video also got over 400,000 likes since it was posted on March 24.
A couple of days later Ollie, of Eastbourne East Sussex, posted a video indicating the video did not go down well with his manager at work.
Ollie said: “That video got a lot more attention than I thought it would and caused a bit of a problem.
“My manager told me that the store manager didn’t really mind but because I swore in that video it’s kind of bad for the company.
“Which kind of is obvious because it doesn’t look really good on them.”
‘WORRIED ABOUT RENT’
Not too long after Ollie said he was sacked from his role as a delivery driver at the supermarket giant
In the latest video posted on Sunday, Ollie updated his new followers that he has been sacked.
Ollie said: “Yep I got sacked and now I am worried about how I am going to pay my rent in a week.
According to Ollie, he was sacked for gross misconduct and disrepute as well as not caring enough about the whole situation.
He said: “It’s not a big deal, like they are a multi-billion pound company and they care about a single video.
“Yep you were all right about me losing my job, go f**k yourself.
“Now I am going to apply for new jobs.”
Ollie still has not found a new job and is worried about paying his rent.
Online many people had warned Ollie about his videos.
One added: “Definitely got sacked after this video.”
Another added: “All I’ll say is I’m not surprised the store manager wasn’t pleased with the swearing.
A Sainsbury’s spokesperson said: “We are unable to discuss individual colleague cases.
“Any decision to review a colleague’s employment is not taken lightly and based on a range of factors.”
