A MUM who won a life changing sum of money on the lottery has revealed the three things she can’t wait to splash out on.

Nichola Galley, 43, bagged nearly £56k when the street of her home in Dukinfield, Greater Manchester, was picked in the Postcode Lotto.

The mum-of-two scooped the cash along with 16 of her neighbours.

She is now hoping to move into a home suitable for her disabled daughter Ava.

The 13-year-old was born with a rare genetic disorder – meaning she can’t talk, can only eat through a tube and is unable to walk by herself.

Nichola spent four years scouring Rightmove trying to find the perfect home for her family and said the money will now make it easier.

She told Manchester Evening News: “Ava’s condition is so rare it doesn’t have a name.

“Most pregnancies [of this condition] either miscarry or are stillborn and doctors didn’t expect her to still be with us at this age.

“We’ll use this to move into a home that’s more suitable for Ava’s needs.

“I want to give Ava her own bedroom with a dressing table, just like every 13-year-old girl wants.

“This has given us a bit of hope and a little bit of happiness, it feels like it’s within our reach now. I feel a bit lighter.”

The now-supermarket cafe worker, who was forced to give up her career in design when Ava was born, said they need a downstairs bedroom and wet room for the teen.

Nichola also wants to put her son James through driving lessons and jet off to Spain on holiday.

She added: “I’m still in shock, I can’t believe we’ve won that amount of money.

“It’s going to be so useful that it’s hard not to get emotional.”

People’s Postcode Lottery Presenters Danyl Johnson and Matt Johnson delivered the life-changing news to the entire street.

Matt said: “We had a delightful day in Dukinfield, sharing the Millionaire Street love with an incredible 17 winners.

“It’s incredibly special to see neighbours winning together.

“But local charities in Dukinfield also have something to celebrate, thanks to People’s Postcode Lottery players.
