But now Robbie Williams fan Cheryl has seen her favourite star at least 40 times, regularly queuing for hours to get the top spot at gigs.

The mum-of-two finally met her idol in Las Vegas.

But she’s been to his shows around the world, including London, Budapest and Amsterdam.

Mark told The Mirror: “We’ve probably spent more than £50,000 with all the hotels, flights, meet and greets, t-shirts and all the memorabilia.”

He added that it was “a bit sad” that his wife and her friends queue up for Robbie Williams shows at 8am.

“She finally met him for a meet and greet in Las Vegas a few years back and was over the moon,” he added. “That cost us £1,000 each and Cheryl could hardly speak to be honest.”

Mark used to drive chemical tankers before their lottery win, but gave it up to enjoy a new life of luxury.

After tiring of time off work he put some of their winnings towards starting a double glazing business.

He says the couple, who now have three grandchildren, has now made their original win “ten times over”.

He added: “It’s important to keep your feet on the ground. It does not make you any better than anyone else, you just learn to enjoy it.”

Brits have been left impressed by Cheryl’s dedication to her favourite singer.

One said: “Good luck to the pair of them, it’s great she can go and see her idol, and there’s nothing wrong with that at all.”

Another added: “Good for them. £1m and done what they needed to do. Then you hear stories of £150m winners who blew the lot.”

Others weren’t so sure.

One wrote: “Why did u spend that much?? I wouldn’t have spent 50p on seeing him.”

It comes after a mum revealed she’d won £3.2million in the People’s Postcode lottery months after her life was destroyed.

And the winner of a £2million jackpot showed off the room in her home she’s dedicated to her parrots.
