A LUCKY Bingo player scooped himself a £50,000 jackpot just months before his wedding.
Phil Bacon was on an average night out with a mate when he tried his hand at a game of bingo on April Fool’s Day.

The 35-year-old was a regular player and used to walking away empty handed.
Although Phil noticed he was getting close to a full house, he only imagined he would scoop a hundred quid or so.
So he was shocked when he called house within 16 numbers and realised he now had an eye-watering £50,000 in his bank account.
He said: “I couldn’t believe it when I won the jackpot.
“I never expected to win such a huge amount of money, and I’m still in shock.
“I’ve been visiting Mecca Bingo for a while now and it’s always a great night out, but this is something else.
“I feel amazing, this has been completely life-changing.”
The delivery operator explained he is putting the money to good use – upgrading his wedding with fiancee Cara-Jane Pallett this summer.

The couple are also planing on splurging the cash on a new luxury car.
Tim Perry, general manager at Mecca Bingo Stevenage, added: “Not only is Phil good at matching numbers, but he’s also met his match, and we couldn’t be more excited for the happy couple as they plan their wedding.”
