A COUPLE has revealed how they won their share of £1million in the People’s Postcode lottery despite shifting house.
Luke Silver, 34, and wife Kayleigh won a sweet £100,000 alongside the neighbours they hadn’t lived near for three years.
The electrician, who used to live in Plymouth, Devon, said the call to never change his details on the lottery has now massively paid off.
The dad-of-three said: “I think I’ve done something right. I’m the luckiest man on the planet.
“This is the exact reason I wanted to keep the ticket. But you never think it is going to happen.
“I didn’t want to risk cancelling it. I thought it would be sod’s law that it would win – and here it is.”

And Luke has no plans to change it anytime soon, adding: “I’m definitely going to keep this postcode, and I’ll sign up for our new postcode.”
He and Kayleigh, 35, and their families returned to the old street to collect the cheque and celebrate.
The parents are now planning a trip to New York, while Luke’s heading off on a lads’ golfing holiday, too.
They’re also planning to spoil their three daughters and other loved ones, too.

This isn’t the first time a person has won the People’s Postcode lottery while living at another address.
Bethany O’Connor scooped £30,000 after forgetting to change her details when she got married.
The lucky Scott won big in 2020, and told of her shock.
She said at the time: “I forgot to move the postcode over when I bought a house last year, which is very lucky.
“The week before I won my mum had given me a document and told me I had it to change it over because they kept getting post from the lottery people.
“I’m just glad I never got round to it now. It’s amazing.”
