A MAN who was told he had won the EuroMillions was ready to splash his £195million jackpot – but a shock twist left hin with just £3.80.
Lee Gilmour, who dedicates his TikTok page to ranting about everyday problems people in the UK experience, has revealed the moment his world came crashing down.
The content creator recently shared with his 100,000 followers that he received an email from the lotto bringing him what he thought was good news.
It read: “You’ve won a prize on the National Lottery.”
Jumping the gun and planning out how he was going to spend his “millions”, Lee was quickly brought back down to planet Earth.
The Scotsman soon found out he had only won £3.80 and could not splash the cash on his dream butler, a first-class trip to Las Vegas or a diamond encrusted throne.
In the clip which went viral, Lee joked: “Get ready for a rant. I was in the toilet today scrolling through my emails.
“And I came across this email.
“I started getting all excited I thought today’s the day I’ve done it I’ve finally hit the jackpot.
“I’m going to be up there with Bill Gates, Elon Musk. I’m sitting in that toilet planning out the rest of my life.

“I’m going to have a private jet, a gold toilet seat, a butler, diamond encrusted throne.
“I had my life planned out I was buying my mum a 15 bedroom mansion with an Olympic sized pool.
“I was taking all my pals to Las Vegas first class.
“And now I’m sitting here still a council estate b****** with Aldi baked beans and fake Aldi Grey Goose vodka in my cupboard that cost £14 because I’m a cheap b******.”
The winning numbers on that day were 10, 11, 20, 36 and 37. The lucky stars were 03 and 07.
It comes after a woman also fell for the same email and thought she had won big.
Ella Rothwell, from Bristol, thought she’d bagged millions but had only secured £2.40.
