A TikToker revealed how she saved an incredible amount of money

The 28-year-old – who goes by @savingmoneybish on the social media platform – has the internet in a frenzy following her revolutionary advice.

The clip has racked up more than 5,000 likes and received over 60 comments.

In the video she revealed her magic method is the “zero based budgeting” approach.

This is a strategy that means “every pound spent has a purpose” and certain amounts from a person’s income are allocated into different categories.

Earlier this month we told of a womans easy hack to save more than £5k a year.

TikTok user Emma jumped on the trend after seeing it done on the platform and she showed just how easy it easy for anyone to do.

She bought two packs of envelopes from Amazon and wrote the numbers one to hundred on them, which she will use to save her money.

She then shuffled them up so the numbers weren’t in order and the idea is to pick out two a week at random.

Then, you simply put the amount it says on the envelope inside it – whether it be big or small.

“Today, I got two, £2. Not too bad for today,” she says in the clip.

She then puts two £1 coins inside the envelope and seals it up before saying, “This means, by this time next year I would have saved over £5k.”
