A STUDENT has revealed the horrors of the filthy flat she forks out an eye-watering £1,000 a month for in London.

Molly Wyss was full of excitement when she moved to the capital from Colorado, US, to study – but has been left fuming as her roommates refuse to clean up their mess.

The 19-year-old found a flat online with three male housemates and was shocked at the state of the place.

Disgusting images show a mould-ridden bathroom with beard trimmings scattered across the floor.

There is also a build-up of toothpaste covering the cupboard tops.

The kitchen is no better – with the washing machine covered in mould and the bin overflowing with takeaway pizza boxes, while the cooker has leftover food and grease splattered over the hobs.

“My roommates definitely don’t clean up after themselves,” Molly – who is studying business and fashion with the Marangoni Universit – said.

“It’s just disrespectful.

“There’s so much mould everywhere. I’ve gotten sick more than I ever have in my life and it’s because of the mould and state of the house, which is not okay.

“It’s disgusting and it’s a really expensive place. I’m trying to find a way that I can afford a gym membership so I can shower somewhere else, it’s that bad.

“I have to wear shoes in the shower it’s that bad.

“Part of the problem has to do with the state that the property has been left in.

“For example, there’s a separate shower room with no lock on the door which I flagged as a safety issue as the only female there but no one has been in to fix it.”

The student posted the disgusting flat on TikTok where the video quickly racked up 480K views.

Users were quick to comment on the shocking video.

One said: “Ain’t no freaking way, they have to pay you if you clean. I would simply throw away all their stuff.”

Another commented: “How are you surviving?????”

A third wrote: “Girl I am sooo sorry.”

Molly says she is desperately trying to find somewhere else to live.

“I’m looking at other options and seeing if I can move as I’m coming up to the end of my lease,” she added.

“I made the TikTok because I wanted to show this is what London can be.

“You have to be careful. I did have some girls reach out to me and ask if I wanted to find a place with them.”
