A MAN has landed a whopping £680,000 in Postcode Lottery after his life spiralled into tragedy.
Stewart was part of 10 neighbours to land the huge windfall in Perthshire in Scotland.
Punters in Bridge of Earn scooped out thousands each from a huge lottery pot of £10.2million.
Like the rest of lucky winners, the retired foster carer was left in shock when a lottery agent turned up on his front door.
I thought the first amount was what I’d won and then he handed me another cheque. That was mind-blowing. It just about put me into Perth Royal Infirmary!
He believes the whopping £680,000 Postcode Lottery win could be a heavenly nod from his late ex-partner Robert.
The dedicated ABBA lover tragically lost the battle to a brain tumour two years ago after enduring a gruelling eight months of illness.

Robert’s death left Stewart not only grieving but also responsible for their two dogs, who have since passed away as well.
He said: “My ex-partner died two years ago of a brain tumour. He had a horrific eight months before he died. It was just awful.
“I kept shouting at him since he died that he never left me any money to bury his dogs. Maybe this is him saying, ‘There you go’.”
The lucky punter was handed two life-changing cheques by lottery presenter Matt Johnson.

He was so shocked that he thought he might end up in the hospital from the surprise.
He exclaimed, “Oh my God, this is too much! The highest I thought was £5,000 but this is just amazing… life-changing. I can’t say the words to describe how I feel. To win something like this is unbelievable.
“I thought the first amount was what I’d won and then he handed me another cheque. That was mind-blowing. It just about put me into Perth Royal Infirmary!”
Despite the massive winnings, Stewart’s lifestyle ambitions are modest.
He plans to splash the cash on a Nissan Juke car and invest a portion in some home renovations like new paint and carpets.
But when it comes to holidays Stewart is planning to go on annual caravan getaways at Haggerston Castle in Berwickshire.
He said: “I don’t do abroad, I’ve done abroad. I go to a caravan every year and that will be exactly the same. I’ve done what I wanted to do and been where I wanted.”
Stewart is also planning to share his winnings and give some away to his family.
He added, “I’ve got a couple of sisters and they’ll get something anyway. My mum is 88 and she’ll just cry. I know she won’t take a penny of it.”
