As explained by CNET, the cache could be what you need to clean for things to speed up.
The cache is designed to be helpful but it can get quite clogged over time.
Basically, it stores information and images from websites, so that the next time you go on a page it all loads a bit quicker.
But conversely, overtime, it can become bloated, so it’s well worth clearing it and starting anew.
Clearing the cache varies depending on the web browser you’re using.
How to clear cache on Safari
If you’re using Apple‘s own Safari web browser, you’ll need to open Settings on your iPhone and find Safari.

Next, tap Clear History and Website Data and confirm.
How to clear cache on Google Chrome
To clear the cache on Chrome, open the app and open the three dot menu in the bottom right.
Choose Settings, followed by Privacy.
Next, tap Clear Browsing Data.
Choose ‘All time’ under Time range, then make sure Cookies, Site Data and Caches Images and Files are ticked.
Finally, hit Clear Browsing Data at the bottom.
