I found FIVE secret iPhone iMessage tricks that most people have never heard of

A POPULAR TikTok video with hundreds of thousands of likes has revealed some iMessage tricks you may not have known about.

The short video clip shows you how to send individual emoji reactions to each individual message and how to create personalised ‘written’ texts.

It was posted by TikTok star @roxanna.roxi who posts a lot about useful tech hacks.

The video starts by stating: “iPhone tricks you didn’t know existed.

“Did you know you can send a different emoji to each individual message”.

The TikToker then shows herself using iMessage and dragging Memoji to react to different messages.

Bear in mind that this doesn’t work with regular emojis.

Next, the TikToker quickly demonstrates how you can hold down the the sound wave button to the right of where you usually type your iMessage and this will allow you to record a voice note.

She also demonstrates how you can rotate your iPhone to send a “personalised text”.

Make sure you haven’t got the rotate feature turned off on your phone.

Then, turn it sideways while in an iMessage chat and you should see a scribble icon next to the “return” button in the lower right hand corner.

Click this and you can drawn out your own message so it looks like writing.

The TikTok creator then revealed how you can swipe through letters without taking your finger off the screen to form a text.

Some people find this quicker than typing.

Finally, @roxanna.roxi shows how you can start sending iMessages with screen effects which she says is “so much cooler”.

To do this, you type out an iMessage and then hold down the blue end arrow without taking your finger off.

This should allow an effect menu to pop up and you can select the appropriate one.

There’s screen effects or bubble effects and you can send things like balloons on someone’s birthday and even emoji fireworks that will explode all over your friend’s screen.
