AN Amazon Fire TV Stick user has revealed a money-saving trick for anyone looking to upgrade their device.

The online retailer routinely releases brand new versions with improved tech every couple of years or so.

And while you may not want to part ways with your existing Fire TV Stick just yet, some who made the leap say it was worthwhile for the big performance boost.

This is especially the case if you’re suffering with a bad Wi-Fi connection.

One bargain hunter also reveals a way to upgrade without paying the full price.

They decided to go for the Fire TV Stick 4K Max, which not only has more storage but supports Wi-Fi 6E for smoother 4K streaming.

“I just upgraded my two older fire sticks, which were in difficult Wi-Fi locations, and I could not believe the difference,” the person wrote on Reddit.

“What I had thought was predominantly a Wi-Fi issue was actually mostly just an older slow processor issue along with the bloat over time of the OS and the few apps that I use.”
