Sadly we can’t say exactly when these features will roll out.
Some of them will be available to test in the beta right now, while others are still “under development”.
But eventually they should all make it to the live version of WhatsApp.

Here are some of the new features coming to WhatsApp…
- 1. An increase in the maximum number of group participants from 512 to 1,024
- 2. An optional subscription plan with bonus features for businesses called WhatsApp Premium
- 3. Screenshot blocking on View Once messages sent over WhatsApp
- 4. The ability to add captions to documents sent via WhatsApp
- 5. A viewable list of pending group participants

How to join WhatsApp beta
To download WhatsApp beta for your smartphone you need to go to Google Play on your Android and search for WhatsApp.
Scroll down the page until you see “Become a Beta Tester”.
Tap the “I’m In” button and then click “Join” to confirm.
Now all you have to do is wait for the update to the beta version of the app.
Joining the WhatsApp beta on iPhone is more difficult, and has limited capacity.
