BRITS on a budget can cash in on six freebies on offer this week, including a Greggs sausage roll and Tesco ice lollies.
While the kids are on summer holidays, parents might find their finances are stretched more than usual to keep the kids entertained.

Free Greggs sausage roll – save £1.20
Greggs is dishing out sausage rolls for free – but you have to be an O2 Priority Customer to get one.
Head to Greggs on either Friday or Saturday to get the snack, which usually costs around £1.20, for free.
To get the deal, you have to be an O2 customer and you’ll have to download the Priority app.
The Priority app offers O2 customers offers including deals from high street brands.
It’s free to download from the App Store or Google Play, or you can text PRIORITY to 2020.
Then, head to the app and the deal should be under the offers section.
You’ll need to tap on “Use Now” to reveal your code within 25 minutes of ordering your treat, and show it to your server.
However, you might want to act fast to get your free grub – the codes are released at 7am and there are only 11,500 available on a first come first served basis.
Free Tesco ice lollies – save £2
Brits were sweltering in record-breaking temperatures last week – and although experts forecast more storms for this week, the sun looks set to return later next month.
You might want to prepare for sunnier times ahead by bagging yourself a free pack of ice cream or ice lollie worth up to £2 from Tesco.
However, you can only get the free packs if you’re a Vodafone customer.
To get the deal, you need to have the VeryMe Rewards app downloaded on your phone via Google Play or the App Store – which is free to do.
VeryMe is Vodafone’s loyalty programme which means customers can get freebies, and prizes each week.
According to Hotukdeals, which listed the deal, you’ll be given a code that you can find in the rewards section of the app which will let you get a pack of ice cream for free.
You’ll need to scan the code at the till to get the treats.
You’ll need to act quick though – there’s only 30,000 packs available to bag, and once they’re gone, they’re gone.
Free nappies from Aldi – save 79p
Becoming a new parent is expensive, so every little saving helps.
You can claim a free pack of 24 nappies, usually worth 74p, from Aldi for nothing by using this hack.
Netmums will send you a voucher in the post for the free nappies if you fill in an online form.
You have to include a few personal details such as your name, address and email address when filling out the form.
Once you receive the voucher in the post, show it at the till to bag your pack without spending a penny.
Free drink at Vue cinemas – save up to £3.59
Planning on seeing a film soon? You can get a soft drink on the house if you head to a Vue cinema.
You can get any free drink from a Coca-Cola drinks machine dispenser – usually worth £3.59, according to moviefoodprices.com – by logging into your Facebook messenger and clicking on this link.
Click “get started”, “yes please”and “understood” in your Facebook messenger app when the option to click on these automated messages comes up.
Then, Coca Cola will send you a code in your app that you’ll need to show to your server to get the drink for free.
The deal ends on July 31, so you have a matter of days to make the most of the offer.
Although a trip to the cinema can be pricey, if you’re heading with the kids, you can buy both adult and children tickets for £2.49 online every Saturday and Sunday morning from 10am onwards.
You’ll be able to catch a kids movie or film, which could be a good activity for a rainy day over the holidays.
‘Free’ McFlurries – save £5
By using cashback website TopCashback, you can get McFlurries from McDonald’s for “free” by using a simple hack.
Cashback websites like TopCashback promise to earn you money on your shopping by agreeing offers with retailers which they pass onto customers.
TopCashback is offering a deal to new members only, and shoppers can get £5 cashback at Just Eat if they spend £10 or more on their order.
So that means you can get £10 worth of food for just £5.
As Maccies is listed on Just Eat, you can use the deal to bag yourself free McFlurry treats.
McFlurries cost 99p for a mini one and £1.49 for a regular one.
So you could get as many as five mini ones or three regular ones for free – if you meet the minimum spending limit.
To get the deal, you need to be a new TopCashback member.
To register as a new member, sign up for an account by entering your email and creating a password on the TopCashback website.
Once you’ve signed up, head to the takeaways section of the website, and scroll down until you see the Just Eat deal.
Click on the “Get cashback now” button, and you’ll be redirected to the Just Eat website – then, place your order and the £5 cashback should be in your TopCashback account minutes after you’ve paid.
Free kids’ maths book from Morrisons
It may be the summer holidays, but your kids could brush up on crunching numbers with a free maths book from Morrisons.
All you need to do us head to your local Morrisons store, which you can find using the supermarket’s online checker tool.
The supermarket launched “Children’s Little Libraries” in May, which is a green pop up unit in store where kids can pick up books for free.
If you’re having trouble finding the pop-up library, ask a member of staff for more details.
A range of workbooks are available for children in year one to year six.
