How to catch Ditto in Pokemon Go?

Ditto, also known as Transform Pokemon, is a little purple blob that disguises itself as other Pokemons.

Although it might be tricky to catch Ditto, here are a few tips that might help you.

Catch as many Pokemons as you can

You have to remember that Ditto can perfectly mimic the appearance and behaviour of any other Pokemon it sees.

So essentially it transforms into another Pokemon which means you will not be able to tell whether the Pokemon you just caught is Ditto or not.

Use a nearby radar

The map will show you which Pokemons are close to your location.

Your best shot is to go there and catch them as they might be a Ditto in disguise.

Use Incense

You might want to use Incense to increase spawn rates.

Being a trainer you want to catch as many Pokemons as possible, increasing your chances of catching Ditto.

Where to find Ditto?

You might increase your chances of catching Ditto by checking Poke Stops.

Additionally, a good tip would be to join Pokemon groups on social media as trainers often flag if they have spotted a Ditto nearby so other trainers can go and find it.
