How can you reset a TikTok For You page?
There are a couple of steps to take before you can reset the for you page per Screen Rant.
First, tap on the three dots in the top-right corner.
You can then select “Settings and privacy,” which will take you to a page with numerous options.
Then, you can scroll down and find the “Clear cache” button.
This supposedly helps reset the for you page by emptying out the hoard of video histories and data enclosed in the TikTok app.
To take an extra step, you can also review your liked video history located on the profile page and unlike any videos that no longer interest you.
This can help with the algorithm and hopefully remove any related videos from your For You page, otherwise known as FYP.
With those two steps completed, you can now try to customize your For You page more by making sure you only follow and like videos that genuinely excite you.
If you come across content that is either triggering or trivial, you can click the “Not interested” option to ensure no similar videos are pushed through your page.
