Plastic fantastic: Make your hot tub a little bit more luxe with a few bubbles. You’ll want plastic flutes to be on the safe side. You can pick them up for just £1.67 for a pack of ten at Asda. They’re light and are a cheaper alternative to those sold at Wilko, where they cost £2.50 for ten. If you prefer a cocktail (or a pint) go for larger, colourful cup options — you can find American-style beer pong cups on ebay.co.uk for around £4.99 for 100.

Hold on a minute: You don’t want to have to keep holding your drinks the whole time — or nipping in and out of the tub. Inflatable drinks holders are fab for keeping your drinks afloat. I love the Flamingo Inflatable Drinks Holder, £2.10, down from £7 at sunnylife.com. You can also get multipacks of 15 in all sorts of designs, including donuts, unicorns and pineapples, on amazon.co.uk for just £12.88.

Hot club: Jazz it up and get your hot tub night-time ready with disco-style lights. You can nab clever, floating lights that look amazing. I love the Underwater Disco Lightshow, £9.99 at Firebox.com — plus it’s cheaper than the similar Lay-Z-Spa 7-Color LED Light, £19.99 at Very.co.uk.

Clobber together: You can hit the tub in style with new swimming gear and you don’t have to fork out a fortune. Make sure you check out the current sales. Asos has plenty of options for both men and women to choose from and there’s up to 80 per cent off. New Look’s sale also has some super, flattering styles, with up to 60 per cent off.
