What is Facebook Dating?

Facebook Dating is similar to other popular apps, like Tinder, in that it lets users swipe right and left on people they are attracted to.

The dating tool is currently available in most countries that have access to Facebook.

Some features include adding your Instagram posts to your profile and opting into Events and Groups to find people with similar interests.

You can also share details of the date, including your live location, with your Facebook friends on Messenger to feel safer.

One of the best parts of Facebook Dating, however, is called Secret Crush.

It’s a tool designed to help you forge romantic bonds with people you already know on Facebook.

You can select up to nine of your Facebook friends or Instagram followers in whom you’re interested.

And if that person adds you to their Secret Crush list too, you’ll be matched together.

However, should that person not use Facebook Dating – or doesn’t put you on their list – they won’t be notified that you’ve entered their name.

How to access Facebook Dating

Interested? you can access the feature inside the main Facebook app.

First, open the Facebook app on your mobile device.

Then tap the three-line menu and in the All Shortcuts section, look for Dating.

Once you’ve done that, tap on Dating, and then hit on Get Started.

Follow the instructions to set up your dating profile, then hit on Done to publish your profile.
