PUNTERS brave enough to serenade bar staff with a performance of Jingle Bells can claim a free pint at Greene King pubs tomorrow.
The pub chain is running the harmonious offer at its 408 Greene King Local Pub watering holes.
You can only get one type of beer, Greene King’s seasonal Ice Breaker pale ale.
There’s no minimum spend – and luckily the deal doesn’t depend on your performance being any good.
You don’t have to sing alone, either.
Duets and entire carolling choruses are allowed, Greene King has said.
They didn’t reveal whether bar staff will get time off to get their ears treated, though.
Marketing director Andrew Gallagher said: “Many of our regulars fancy themselves as singers after a few – now we’ll put their skills to the test.”
Greene King runs 2,700 pubs across the UK, although only its Local Pub beer halls are participating in tomorrow’s song scheme.

Innocent pub-goers who found themselves trapped for three days in a Yorkshire pint house compared the experience to I’m A Celebrity.
Meanwhile Wetherspoons poured cold bitter on big-name beers including John Smiths and Strongbow, removing them from its menu.
And there are new fears punters could be forced to mask up in England’s homely drinks establishments as the Omicron variant spreads.
