IT has been a fantastic year for fighting games, with both Street Fighter 6 and Mortal Kombat 1 blowing us away this year.

In January, there’s another treat in store as the next game in the Tekken series, Tekken 8, comes to PlayStation, Xbox and PC.

Tekken 8 will release early next year.

A closed beta for Tekken 8 will launch this month, giving players four days of unlimited access to the game.

Starting on Friday, October 20, 2023, and ending on Monday, October 24, 2023, this weekend is your first chance to play.

If you don’t have a beta code yet, don’t worry, as you can still claim yours before the weekend starts.

Those who have a contract with either O2 or Virgin Media can go to the priority website to grab a code.

If you are not an O2 or Virgin customer, there is still a way that you can play for free this weekend.

If you live in London, there is another way that you can play Tekken 8 early.

The Virgin Media Gamepad is in the O2 Arena, will give players access to the beta, and is open to all.

There are 30-minute walk-in sessions for Xbox Series X available for all who are interested.

It’s available to anyone, but if you are a Virgin Media or O2 customer, you can book a space for up to five friends.

If you are a fighting game fanatic, you can read more about this year’s releases in our Street Fighter 6 preview.
