GOOGLE has pushed out a new version of Chrome that fixes more than 30 bugs that hackers could exploit.

Chrome 102 addresses one issue deemed critical and eight classified as high.

The tech giant is remaining quiet about the full extent of the security flaws.

It’s pretty standard practice, so people have enough time to install the update – and to not hand instructions to cyber crooks on a golden platter.

Many of the bugs were uncovered by external experts, who dig around for flaws on Chrome in exchange for a financial reward.

It means the vast majority would have been found before hackers are widely aware.

“Access to bug details and links may be kept restricted until a majority of users are updated with a fix,” Google said.

“We will also retain restrictions if the bug exists in a third party library that other projects similarly depend on, but haven’t yet fixed.

“We would also like to thank all security researchers that worked with us during the development cycle to prevent security bugs from ever reaching the stable channel.”

In total, 32 security fixes were made.

But the latest update isn’t all about serious stuff, there are some slight feature tweaks on the front end too.

Among them is a new keyboard trick that allows you to move Chrome tabs about.

All you have to do is hold CTRL and Shift, and use the up and down keys to shift the tab’s position.

Anyone doing a presentation can now control it from a separate tab too.
