GOOGLE has assured Pixel owners that a fix is coming for an Android bug that’s been annoying users for months now.
People with the latest Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro have reported a mysterious jittering problem when scrolling through their phone.
It doesn’t appear the issue is widespread but hundreds of complaints have been left on Google’s website.
And Pixel fans are not impressed with the wait.
“If it isn’t fixed or at least acknowledged in the next week phone will be going back to provider,” one frustrated owner said.
“My first Pixel phone and it’s going to be the last one if the issue is not addressed soon,” another vented.
“Scrolling issues ruin whole experience of using the phone.”
A third person added: “This is unacceptable, how can this still not have been fixed, I still see jitters and stutters when scrolling through pages.”
It appears to be a software bug rather than a serious hardware one.
In which case, an update should fix it once developers have got to the bottom of it.

Google has finally responded to concerns on the page saying a fix is coming.
But not everyone is satisfied, as many want to know when it’ll land.
Google usually rolls out monthly patches, so it could come in March.
“We are aware of this issue and working on improvements for an upcoming software update,” a company rep responded.
