EAGLE-EYED Google Maps sleuths have discovered a cornfield maze in Arizona that some netizens claim was left there by aliens.

Satellite images of the location on the search giant’s digital mapping tool show intertwining lines that form a message when viewed from above.

The text reads “healthcare heroes” and is accompanied by a heart with a cross in the middle flanked by other shapes and patters.

A stunned Google Maps fan posted their discovery to Reddit on Thursday, drawing excitement from fellow forum-dwellers, the Daily Star reports.

The aerial view of Andelin Family Farm in Sparks, Nevada, shows the famous cornfield maze attraction at the enormous pumpkin patch.

However, not everyone is convinced of its true origin – especially considering its proximity to the mysterious Area 51 research base.

One Reddit user joked: “Best crop circle I’ve seen in a minute.”

Another wrote: “Very cool to see it from aerial imaging.

“If you are looking from the main complex, look to the east of the Pyramid. The image is shifted 90 degrees.”

Apparently, the Andelin family changes the pattern and message in their five-acre every year.

The “healthcare heroes” iteration is from last year, and it has since been changed, one Reddit user claimed.

They said: “They have a new theme for this year, #forever14 to being mental health awareness to youth issues.

“They have some drone footage on their website. You could expect satellite in a few months depending upon the provider that you prefer.”

Crop circles are geometric patterns that are etched into fields by flattening crops, and are commonly associated with alien encounters.

Most patterns appear in cereal crops such as wheat and barley, but circles have been known to occur in oilseed rape, maize, linseed and grass.

The faux-paranormal patterns are widely considered one of the world’s biggest paranormal hoaxes.

The ease. with which they’re made was laid bare in 1991, when Doug Bower and David Chorley were filmed showing how they made many of the corn field patterns found across the UK.

The Andelin Family Farm does not claim that its famed pumpkin patch has been visited by extraterrestrials.

The group says their corn maze is “fun for all ages”. Entry is $7 per person.
