Her husband and former Labour leader Neil Kinnock was at her side in her final moments, her family said

Baroness Glenys Kinnock of Holyhead, a former minister, MEP and the wife of the former Labour leader Lord Kinnock, has died aged 79, her family said.

In a statement to the PA Media news agency, her family said: “It is with the deepest sorrow that we announce the death of Glenys Kinnock. Glenys died peacefully in her sleep in the early hours of Sunday morning, at home in London.
