Genshin Impact Dehya build: Best weapons, artifacts and teams

DEHYA is the latest five-star character introduced to Genshin Impact in update 3.5.

She’s available in banners until Tuesday, March 21, 2023, so you have a chance to grab her now.

Here’s the best weapons, artifacts and teams for Dehya in Genshin Impact.

Best weapons for Dehya in Genshin Impact

As with many other Genshin Impact characters, Dehya’s best weapon is her signature.

Beacon of the Reed Sea, is a five-star claymore that boosts her critical hit rate, and enhances her attack after her elemental skill.

It will also increase her HP if she’s not protected by a shield, giving her both offensive and defensive options.

Here are some alternatives if you don’t have this weapon.

• Wolf’s Gravestone (5-star claymore) – Main DPS, Sub DPS
• Serpent Spine (4-star claymore) – Main DPS, Sub DPS
• Favonius Greatword (4-star claymore) – Support
• Katsuragikiri Nagamasa (4-star claymore) – Support

Best artifacts for Dehya in Genshin Impact

Dehya can work in any position on the team making her a rare gem.

If you want to maximise her damage, a full set of Crimson Witch of Flames will increase the power of her Pyro attacks and reactions.

However, if you want to play her in a Sub DPS or Support role, you should use a set of Emblem of Severed Fate or Tenacity of the Millelith respectively.

These builds will also want to focus more on energy management and HP.

Here’s a good stat distribution for a damage dealing Dehya.

• Flower: HP (main stat), Critical Damage, Critical Hit Rate, Attack%, Energy Recharge (secondary stats)
• Plume: Attack (main stat), Critical Damage, Critical Hit Rate, Attack%, Energy Recharge (secondary stats)
• Sands: Attack% (main stat), Critical Damage, Critical Hit Rate, Energy Recharge, Elemental Mastery (secondary stats)
• Goblet: Pyro Damage% (main stat), Critical Damage, Critical Hit Rate, Attack%, Energy Recharge (secondary stats)
• Circlet: Critical Hit Rate or Critical Damage (main stat), Critical Damage or Critical Hit Rate, Attack%, Energy Recharge, Elemental Mastery (secondary stats)

Best teams for Dehya in Genshin Impact

Dehya can take on any role in a team, so we’ve built three teams she could work in.

This is a Pyro team that buffs Dehya’s damage using Pyro Resonance, and area-of-effect damage.

The only non-Pyro character, Kazuha, works to shred the elemental resistance of the opponent.

Dehya and Hu Tao will both benefit from the HP boost from the Hydro Resonance in this team.

As Sub DPS, Dehya will absorb some of the incoming damage and protect Hu Tao.

• Alhaitham (Main DPS), Yelan (Sub DPS), Xingqiu (Sub DPS), Dehya (Support)

Dehya’s off-field ability will trigger the Dendro/Hydro reactions at the core of this team.
