Sometimes it’s easy to miss an iPhone notification.
This can be especially true if you’re somewhere loud – so you don’t hear a vibration.
So if you like to cook with the music blasting, it would be easy to miss a text.
Now TikTok tech whiz @keyboardshortcuts has shared an iPhone hack that will fix this.
It’s called LED Flash for Alerts, and it means your iPhone flashlight flashes when you have a notification.
The brief flash will instantly catch your attention – even if you can’t hear a notification.
It’s great for people who are hard of hearing, but also for anyone who ever misses a notification due to noise.
And it’s really easy to turn on.

Simply go into your Apple Settings app, then choose Accessibility > Audio/Visual and toggle LED Flash for Alerts on.
But not everyone is convinced by the hack.
One person commenting wrote: “Nah brings too much attention.”
And another said: “This is annoying. Especially to the people around you.”
The bright lights could be annoying, particularly if you get a lot of notifications.
Thankfully you can turn the feature off at any time, so consider trying it to see if you like it.
