MCDONALD’S is set to axe eight items from its menu in just hours, including what fans say is the ‘best ever’ dish. 

Fast food fans will need to be quick if they want one last taste of the limited edition Easter items the chain has been selling over the past few weeks.

The eight items will be leaving the McDonald’s menu by the end of today, Tuesday, April 6 just over a month since they joined.

The returning Cadbury Creme Egg McFlurry and Mini Cadbury Creme Eggs McFlurry are also due to leave menus again. 

The dessert swirls soft dairy ice cream with pieces of Cadbury Dairy Milk and is topped with a Creme Egg sauce.

Fans have been expressing their love for the limited edition McFlurry and some are begging the fast food chain not to axe it.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one user begged: “McDonald’s please keep the crème egg Mc Flurry,” 

“Crème egg McFlurry’s are my weakness,” said someone else. 

A third user said: “I’m pissed I didn’t get a Cadbury creme egg McFlurry this year.”

“Creme egg McFlurry is the best thing ever,” said a fourth user.

The Hot Cross Bun Pie and Hot Cross Bun Latte are also due to leave menus as they’re limited edition Easter treats.

Fans will be disappointed to hear the fan favourite Halloumi fries are also due to leave once again. 

The snacks come in a pack of four cheese sticks coated in a light batter, served with a rich tomato dip.

They’ve returned to Maccies menus for the past three years in a row and prove popular every time they come back.

Fans are always desperate the keep the snack on menus, with many taking to social media begging the chain to keep them permanent.

What’s being added to menus?

There is some good news however 12 new items are due to make their way onto McDonald’s menus. 

Among the range is the brand new Lotus Biscoff Frappe which is bound to be a big hit with fans of the iconic biscuit.

Among the beloved items making their way back to menus is the Chicken Big Mac.

Fans of the iconic Quarter Pounder burger will once again be able to give the deluxe version a go too.

Coming back for a fourth time is the sell-out Chicken Big Mac which has proven a huge hit with fans since it first debuted in 2022.

All the items will be available in McDonald’s branches from tomorrow, Wednesday, April 17.

  • Biscoff McFlurry mini – £1.59
  • Galaxy Caramel Pie – £1.99
  • Biscoff Frappe – £2.99
  • Galaxy Chocolate McFlurry – £1.99
  • Galaxy Chocolate Mini McFlurry – £1.59
  • Quarter Pounder Deluxe – £4.89
  • Quarter Deluxe Medium Meal – £6.59
  • Chicken Big Mac – £4.69
  • Chicken Big Mac Meal – £6.49
  • Cheese & Herb Melts – £2.89
  • Cheese & Herb Melts Sharebox – £7.09

You will need to act fast if you want to taste these new and returning items as menus are due to change again in six weeks.

The chain has a restaurant locator tool on its website you can use to find your nearest one – and check what time it opens.
