JUNE was one of the biggest in 2023 for gaming releases.
While people are still catching up on their June games, July is giving us all a little bit of a break.
That doesn’t mean that there aren’t any games, but there are fewer big releases.
Here’s everything to look out for in gaming in July 2023.
Synapse
Synapse is the next big-budget VR game coming exclusively to PlayStation.
Travel and fight your way through a spiralling mindscape in this dual-wielding shooter.
Synapse claims to be more than just a shooter, giving you multiple ways to engage in combat.
Synapse will launch on July 4 exclusively for PS VR2.
Oxenfree 2: Lost Signals
A follow-up to the 2016 indie darling, Oxenfree 2 is almost here.
Oxenfree 2 is a horror puzzle game with a strong ‘80s inspiration, where you investigate the origins of mysterious radio signals.
Most read in Gaming
While the horror elements are strong, Oxenfree 2 is a coming-of-age story at its core.
Oxenfree 2 will be released on July 12 for PS4, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
Exoprimal
Like Titanfall meets Dino Crisis, you will take on waves of dinosaurs that fall from the sky.
Fight down the incoming prehistoric threat in teams while riding in mech suits.
Exoprimal is giving us goofy Earth Defense Force vibes, for silly multiplayer fun.
Exoprimal releases on July 14 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Pikmin 4
The long-awaited next entry in the Pikmin series, Pikmin 4, is almost here.
Introducing a new rideable friend, Oatchi, you’ll have more ways to transport your Pikmin than ever before.
A free demo for Pikmin is available now, and players who complete it can transfer save data over to the full game on release.
Pikmin 4 will launch on July 21 exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
Remnant 2
Remnant 2 is an upcoming game from Gunfire Games, the team behind the Darksiders series.
Set in a post-apocalyptic world, Remnant 2 allows players to play solo or team up with a friend.
You’ll take down the monsters in your path, and try to beat large-scale bosses.
Remnant 2 releases on July 25 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Disney Illusion Island
Disney Illusion Island is a Nintendo Switch exclusive where you can play as Goofy, Donald, Mickey or Minnie with up to three friends.
It’s a 2D platformer where the puzzles can be solved more quickly and easily if completed with friends.
Each character has their own special abilities, giving you more ways to play.
Disney Illusion Island will launch on July 28 exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
F1 Manager 2023
The new entry in the F1 manager series, 2023, aims to improve on all of the missteps of last year’s entry.
New cars and tracks have been added, and there are new stats for existing teams and drivers.
Performance is enhanced, making racing more like the real thing than the previous entry.
F1 Manager 2023 launches on July 31 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
