YOU don’t need to break the bank to find your favorite television shows and movies as one app on Amazon’s Fire Stick is offering a free upgrade for customers this month.
There are several free streaming platforms known for offering hundreds of TV shows and movie options for videophiles on a budget, and one is adding even more in May.
Freevee, which is owned by Amazon, offers thousands of movies, shows, live television, and original content at no cost to viewers.
Instead of paying for a monthly subscription, viewers have to endure regular ads – similar to commercials – when watching their favorite shows.
The streaming platform offers similar services to its paid counterparts, including creating watchlists, and the ability to search by title, genre and cast.
The app is available on Apple devices, Androids, as well as smart TVs and remotes – such as the Amazon Fire Stick.
Freevee is currently only available for streaming with the United States and U.S. territories, according to Amazon.
When using the remote, viewers can easily access the free content with just the click of a button through their Amazon account.
Like similar free streaming platforms, Freevee is upgrading its content for customers by adding more television channels to the app.
The app is adding at least seven new channels and shows throughout the month of May, according to Cord Cutter News.
