Or you could put in some effervescent vitamin C tablets, which are great for anyone feeling run down — Sainsbury’s is selling packs for £1.
REST WELL: Self-care starts with sleep. Wilko’s Derma V10 lavender pillow spray, £1.50, helps to relax and calm the senses to induce rest.
You can also add a facemask to the box. Superdrug sells single packs of the detoxing skincare product for 99p.
TIME TO RELAX: Taking a bath soothes aching joints. The Range has Elysium Spa Epsom salts for £1.29, which have antiseptic healing properties to de-stress and detoxify.
A hot-water bottle is another way to ease pains. The Range has ribbed ones for £2.99 or Argos’s mini-fleece hot-water bottles are currently on offer at £4.
SEND WITH LOVE: With little uplifting messages on each sweet, Love Hearts are a treat to finish a care box. Tesco has packs for 20p.
You could also add some chocolate, which cheers up almost anyone. A small Dairy Milk Freddo costs 25p from most super- markets, or you could chuck in a bigger sharing bar for £1.
