TUCKED away on your iPhone are loads of special features that enhance the experience.
There are even hidden apps that allow you to do so much more.
For example, did you know that the main camera app has a secret sister app?
And there are ways to snoop under the bonnet of your iPhone as well.
Hidden camera app
The iPhone has a secondary camera app that isn’t meant for taking photos.
It’s called Magnifier, and it provides a handy zoom so that you can read small text.
You can also examine tiny objects using the clever Apple feature.
It’s easy to find – just drag down from the top of the Home Screen and then type Magnifier, and it’ll come up.

Want to delve deeper into your iPhone’s settings?
There’s a special place meant for techies and most of it is gibberish to the average user.
But there is some useful information about signal strength.
To access it, open the phone dialler and type *3001#12345#*.
Tap the call button and you’ll see a section of the iPhone not accessible through the usual settings.
Look for a bit called LTE RSRP, which stands for Reference Signal Received Power.
This shows your true signal strength.
It usually goes from -140 to -40, and the closer you are to -40 the better.
Medical ID
Your iPhone could also a life saver if something serious has happened to you.
Paramedics can summon Medical ID from your lock screen to find out about any important things like your health history, medication you take and allergies.
You can set Medical ID up by going to the Settings and finding Health.
From there, select Medical ID and fill in the details, ensuring Show When Locked is set to Enabled.
Secret chat
The Notes app can be used as a secret chat app that no-one will suspect.
That’s because you can share notes with others.
All you need to do is type something in the Notes app and wait for a response from others who you have shared the note with.
To share a note, simply click the three dots at the top right of the note and then click Share Note.
