A LUXURY family home on the market in Shropshire will look oddly familiar to fans of one very well-known children’s show.

The four-bed property in Shrewsbury boasts some stunning features, including rural views, a top-of-the-range kitchen and underfloor heating.

But its architecture will ring a bell for anyone who grew up watching the Teletubbies – as it looks exactly like the Tubbytronic Superdome.

Just like the TV house, the £1.75million home is completely covered by grass.

The “living roof” means it blends perfectly into its countryside surroundings.

However, that’s where the similarities between the two pads ends.

The Superdrome – home to Tinky-Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po – looks more like an empty aircraft hanger inside.

But the lucky new owner of Three Oaks will find an ultra-modern property filled with high-end additions.

The house, built in 2017, covers 7,000sq ft and features a second kitchen, whopping dining room and floor-to-ceiling windows.

Every bedroom has its own en suite and build-in bathroom, while the kitchen is fitted with an electric Aga, pricey Gaggenau fridge/freezer and in-built Miele coffee machine.

Two sets of bi-fold doors on the ground floor open directly onto the paved terrace, and the living and drawing rooms have their own Aga log burners.

There’s also a music room and gym, as well as grounds spanning 1.2 acres.

Agents at Strutt and Parker say: “The property has been designed with the environment at the heart of the project and incorporates solar panels, private water supply via a borehole, a bio-mass boiler with intelligent heating system control and living roof.”

It’s not the only home with a sweet surprise in store on the market.

The owner of an £875,000 home in Belfast will find a massive slide extending between two floors in the back garden.
