FORTNITE players cannot log into the game this morning, November 21, 2023, and many are wondering when the servers will be back.
The hit Battle Royale’s servers are down at the moment for scheduled maintenance to bring update v27.11 into the game.
Is Fortnite on downtime right now?
Yes, Fortnite servers are now down for scheduled maintenance to release update v27.11.
This is the second update to Fortnite OG, the new season that takes players all the way back to the times when the game first launched.
The hotfix to Fortnite OG is launching today, November 21, 2023.
As always, developers Epic Games have let players know about the maintenance period in advance.

Matchmaking in Fortnite was disabled 30 minutes before maintenance started this morning, in preparation for v27.11’s deployment, which began at 9am UK time / 4am ET.
Epic Games posted about the downtime on the Fortnite Status Twitter account moments before taking servers down.
Usually, when a new update is released, Fortnite servers become unavailable for a few hours in the morning.
How long is Fortnite downtime?
Epic Games has not provided end times for the scheduled maintenance, but we can make a guess based on previous updates.

How long will Fortnite be down for patch v27.11
We don’t know for sure how long the deployment of the patch will last, but server maintenance periods for previous updates have taken up to three or four hours.
If that’s the case with patch v27.11’s deployment, we should expect servers to be back online at 12pm UK time / 7am ET.
