For many avid gamers, the idea of a 12-hour gaming marathon sounds like heaven.
Now, these protracted sessions can be carried out from the comfort of your bed, thanks to the launch a new gaming bed.
Dreams and X Rocker have joined forces to create a bed dubbed the Nebula Ottoman.
The bed comes with a 43-inch TV built-in, as well as a surround sound system, USB-C ports, and storage for gaming consoles.
But if you want to get your hands on one you’d better start saving – the bed comes with an eyewatering £3,599 price tag!

The bed is aimed at people who are seeking ‘maximum comfort’ while gaming, according to Fabio Perrotta, Director of Buying at Dreams.
‘[The] collection goes beyond just furniture, offering an immersive experience, purposefully engineered for maximum comfort during gaming sessions for kids, teens and adults,’ he said.
The main bed frame – which comes as a small double, double, or King – has a grey leather finish, but features futuristic LED lighting, which users can control via an app.
‘This app controlled RGB lighting can be synced to enhance the experience of your favourite game soundtrack, or act as an integrated alarm for waking up or winding down,’ Dreams explains on its website.
A surround sound system is also built in to both the head and footboard speakers, providing ‘unrivalled immersion’ for games.
Meanwhile, the bed features convenient USB-C ports and headphone sockets, as well as storage for controllers and consoles.
A 4K 43-inch Smart TV is fitted into the footboard as standard, but users can choose to upgrade to 42-inch LG OLED

A 4K 43-inch Smart TV is fitted into the footboard as standard, but users can choose to upgrade to a 42-inch LG OLED.
Unsurprisingly, this upgrade comes at a cost.
While the cheapest variation costs £2,499, users can expect to splash out a whopping £3,599 for the most expensive option – the King bed with the 42-inch LG OLED.
Gary Shaw, Managing Director of X Rocker, said: ‘We are confident that these innovative premium designs will appeal to gamers of all levels and ability.
‘So, whether you are a FIFA fanatic or just starting out the new range has something for everyone.’
The launch of the new bed comes shortly after MailOnline tested the ‘ultimate gaming chair’.
A seemingly unlikely collaboration between mattress company Tempur and Xbox, the one-of-a-kind ‘Dream Chair’ was built to mark the release of Starfield, a role-playing game set in the distant future.
With a design inspired by Starfield’s retro ‘NASA-punk’ aesthetic, the enormous gaming chair might not fit in your living room, but it would feel right at home in the cockpit of a spaceship.
However, it’s not just the style that’s space-age – it’s also been built with a material originally used to cushion the impact of lift-off aboard space shuttles.
