EA SPORTS has dominated football games for the last 30 years with few competitors.
Currently, only Konami’s eFootball even challenges FC 24’s crown, but it has a smaller player base by far.
Despite this, we have been promised a number of interesting games which could make waves in the genre.
One of these is UFL or Ultimate Football League, which has signed a number of key players like Cristiano Ronaldo to be its ambassadors.
However, following a number of delays in development, we still don’t have a firm release date.
What we do have is an upcoming closed beta test, which will allow players to get their hands on the game for the first time.

The closed beta was announced a long time ago, but no dates for the test have been revealed.
GLHF recently received an email stating that we have been placed on the ‘closed test shortlist’.
If you previously signed up for the UFL beta test, you should check your emails, including your spam folder.
The email reads: “The UFL Closed Test will take place in a series of test sessions in the following months.

“Testers will be invited to the test in separate waves when needed.
“Depending on how the test goes, some people on the shortlist may be invited sooner than others.
“We want to assure you that you will be invited to participate in the Closed Test.”
If you didn’t sign up previously, it appears that it’s now too late to do so, but there is good news for those who missed out.
With many people getting their first hands-on experiences with the game, more information will be available than ever before.
Early footage was certainly promising, and football gaming fans are hoping that the FIFA series will finally have an alternative.
