FOLDING FUN: From simple paper airplanes to intricate animals and shapes, origami is a great activity to keep youngsters busy when they’re indoors.

Then, encourage your children to make their own paper puppets using paper bags, construction paper and other craft supplies. They can put on their own puppet shows, bringing their imaginations to life.

FACE MASK: Turn ordinary paper plates into a work of art with some simple tricks. Create easy animal masks by cutting out holes for the eyes and mouth. Then use paints or pens to create your child’s favourite animal.

FORTUNE TELLER: Remember making fortune tellers as a child? This classic paper-folding activity is a fun and interactive way to keep kids entertained indoors. All you need is a piece of paper and some markers to create the fortune teller, and then your children can take turns asking questions and revealing their fortunes.
