FIFA 22 is out next week but for those of you who are itching to play this year’s instalment, there’s some good news.

You can start playing FIFA 22 early. As soon as today, in fact, with 10 days Early Access.

There are two options for playing FIFA 22 early; one is tied to a specific edition of the game, and the other involves signing up for a subscription.

FIFA 22 Ultimate Edition

Pre-ordering the FIFA 22 Ultimate Edition will grant four days early access as well as a bunch of in-game bonuses.

That means you can start playing the game from Monday, September 27. Pre-load is available from Saturday, September 25.

FIFA 22 Ultimate Edition is the most expensive of the options, coming in at £89.99 / $99.99 on consoles.

But Dual Entitlement means that that you can upgrade to the PS5 or Xbox Series X|S version for free.

EA Play

If you’d like to start playing FIFA 22 as early as today, then you’ll want to consider an EA Play subscription.

It comes with a bunch of perks, including a 10-hour trial ahead of a game’s release.

So while you can start playing from Wednesday, September 22, you’ll be capped at the 10-hour mark.

After that, you’ll have to wait until the October 1 launch date to pick up where you left off.

Xbox players can also get in on the action, thanks to EA Play being included with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

An EA Play subscription comes in at £3.99 / $4.99 per month, or £19.99 / $29.99 for 12 months.

It’s worth noting that right now, you can get your first month for just £0.79 / $0.99.

FIFA 22 web app

The FIFA 22 web app launches on Wednesday, September 22, with the mobile companion app following on Thursday, September 23.

You can access the web app from your PC, and you can download the companion app from the App Store or Google Play Store.

Based on the times the app went live for FIFA 21 and FIFA 22, it’s a safe bet to assume that it’ll be accessible from 10am PST / 1pm EST / 6pm BST on September 22.

You can use the app to help manage your FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT) outside of the game.

So if you want to manage your squad, trade players, and customise features like your stadium or goal celebrations on the go, it’s worth downloading.

The FIFA 22 Ratings Collective return to decide the top player ratings

While you’re waiting for FIFA 22 Early Access to go live, there’s still a couple of days left to hop into the Call of Duty: Vanguard beta.

Although Xbox players might struggle with this graphical bug that’s making the beta unplayable for some.

Meanwhile, games should keep their eyes on Amazon for a PS5 restock today.
