Fender will be giving new musicans complimentary access to Fender Pla, their complete online learning app.

Budding rock stars will be able to access the app for free until the end of 2020.

So if you’re looking for a new hobby this lockdown, Fender’s giveaway is about to make learning an instrument much easier.

New players will be able to register at fender.com/playthrough, and it’ll be available for new guitar gurus, bass and ukulele learners.

Fender first ran their Fender Play giveaway in April during the first lockdown, with Fender Play’s user base grewing by nearly 500 per cent.

After an increase from 150,000 to 930,000 subscribers during the first giveaway, Fender have launched the giveaway for the winter months too.

On the giveaway, Fender said: “When quarantine began, we invited the world to make some noise with free access to Fender Play. Six months in, the world is louder than ever — and music still has the power to connect us all.

“So until 2020 is over, our invitation is back, 3 months of free online guitar, bass and ukelele lessons. No cost. No catch. Just music. Let’s play on through to the other side. Play Loud. Play Free. Play On.” 

Fender Play is an online learning app for guitar, bass and ukulele that uses multi-genre, instructor-guided video lessons.

You don’t have to spend a fortune too, the Venice Soprano Ukulele is available for £49.99 here, with the Dreadnought available for £99 here.
