BARGAIN hunting shoppers are rushing to nab a “cosy” dupe of a designer favourite that sells for £2,600.
The Grey Teddy Long Coat, from New Look, retails for just £64.99 and bares resemblance to the £2725 Teddy Bear Icon Coat from Max Mara.
Both coats are hallmarked by long sleeves and a long hem and are made with a borg fabric.
Shoppers say the outerwear reliably keeps them warm through icy temperatures.
The New Look version is available in black, cream, tan, brown and khaki and is stocked in sizes six to 22.
Hundreds of buyers said the coat is a perfect winter staple.

“I am so happy with the coat. It’s really warm and comfortable and I’m very pleasantly surprised,” one woman wrote.
“I was worried it would be too tight to wear big jumpers underneath, but it’s absolutely fine as sizing is generous.
“I cannot recommend enough.”
Another woman said the coat’s versatility was her favourite part.

“The coat’s neutral colour goes well with a variety of outfits, making it versatile for both casual and more dressed-up occasions,” she wrote.
“It has a timeless, classic look that I believe will stay in style for many winters to come.”
Max Mara said its garment “was inspired by an archival garment from the 80s and immediately became an it-coat”.
The dupe comes after fashion fans went wild for supermarket lookalike of a £3,100 Celine bag.
Others have shared their best Skims dupe yet – that’s “half the price and soft as butter”.
