It’s the go-to social media app for millions of people around the world.
But it appeared that Facebook suffered issues this afternoon, with thousands of people unable to access the app.
According to Down Detector, the problems started at around 12:00 GMT, and affected users across the UK, the US and Australia.
MailOnline tried to access the site, and found that it was loading as usual once again.

Of those who reported issues, 90 per cent said it was with the website, while seven per cent said they were having problems loading.
The remaining three per cent said the problem was with their Facebook Profile.
Meanwhile, Down Detector’s data showed that worldwide, more than 8,000 problems were logged.
Again, the vast majority of complaints were about the website.
While Meta is yet to comment on the outage, several users took to rival site, X (formerly Twitter) to vent their frustrations.
One user tweeted: ‘Is Facebook down?
‘Can’t access FB on my computer. Hey guys please solve the issue.’

One user shared a meme of Dennis the Menace holding up a smartphone with a blank screen
One user tweeted: ‘Is Facebook down? Can’t access FB on my computer. Hey guys please solve the issue’
Another added: ‘Facebook is not working & I straight away come to twitter or X to make sure its not just me.
‘Twitter always there to validate I’m not alone or crazy.’
And one joked: ‘Well, just wanted to check my @facebook notifications and stuff, but #FacebookDown.’
