FACEBOOK is adding more than a hundred new emoji to the social network as it catches up with WhatsApp.
Among them is the pregnant man, a cheeky biting lip and different skin toned hand shakes.
The firm is also late to the party with different people holding hands, which was first recommended in late 2019.
Now, there are 30 different couples with different skin tones and genders – 10 of which have no obvious gender at all.
A gender neutral person with a crown is there too.
And seven new smiley faces have also been thrown into the mix, including the melting face and hiding face behind hands.
Meanwhile, designs for three – face with hand over mouth, the syringe, and the neutral face – have been updated.
There are 137 additions in total, all of which will appear across the main Facebook site and its Messenger app.
The move finally brings it in line with others, such as WhatsApp – which Facebook owns – Apple’s iOS and Google’s Android.
They already added most of these emoji ages ago.

According to Emojipedia, the latest designs “will be made available to an increasing number of global users over the next weeks and months”.
So be on the look out for them.
It comes as emoji bosses recently revealed they would no longer allow new submissions for flags.
Flags have apparently become too much hassle for the Unicode Consortium – the body which overseas all emoji – because they are constantly evolving and the addition of one “creates exclusivity at the expense of others”.
