FORTNITE Chapter 5 Season 1 is almost here, but as with all new Chapters, things are being kept secret.
Chapter 4 Season 5 is going to end with a Big Bang, a huge event featuring Eminem.

While we know when the new season will start officially, there’s still a lot that’s been kept secret.
Here’s everything we know about Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1.
Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 release date
After the Big Bang event ends, there is some scheduled downtime so that Fortnite servers can be updated with Chapter 5 content.
This Fortnite downtime is scheduled for 8:30pm PT / 11:30pm ET on December 2, and 4:30am UK time on December 3.

The downtime is expected to last several hours after which the new chapter will go live.
Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 Battle Pass
The Battle Pass hasn’t been revealed yet, but we have some fairly reliable information from Fortnite leakers.
One player managed to capture an image of the Xbox dashboard when information on the Battle Pass showed up early.
The image showed two vehicles and eight new outfits coming to the game. Of these eight new outfits, two were recognisable from other media.

This includes Peter Griffin from Family Guy wearing a tight dinner jacket, and Solid Snake from Metal Gear Solid, also in a suit jacket.
Lego has also been teasing a collaboration between the buildable bricks and the popular battle royale game.
The company shared the image of a Lego Loot Llama, and then told players that they can now link their Lego and Epic Games accounts.
This leads us to believe that a collaboration between Lego and Fortnite will appear during Chapter 5.
