Eufy’s security camera offers up to 1080p recording, and a selection of other strong options.
The camera can pan a full 360 degrees around and tilt 96 degrees vertically; it also has a good 125-degree field of view to capture plenty in one shot.
It also features infrared night vision to 32.8 feet and uses artificial intelligence to detect movement.
That helps it pick up on human and pet activity, as well as ‘crying’ or excessive noise levels – which can trigger a mobile notification.
Even better, if you have an Alexa Show the Eufy will connect – working via Eufy’s Security app.
There’s also support for Apple HomeKit and Google Assistant, should you already have those set up.
You will need to pick up an SD Card to record with the camera, and you can use an up to 128GB capacity option.
It’s also worth noting that while the camera does work over WiFi, it uses 2.4GHz channels only.
Most routers do offer the 2.4GHz frequency as standard, but it is important to know for setting up.
