EPIC Games is about to drop some major discounts on amazing PC titles.
This year’s Epic Games Store Spring Sale begins later this week – and includes savings on Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Cyberpunk 2077.
What is the Epic Games Store Spring Sale?
Epic Games is one of the world’s top game makers, behind smash-hit franchises like Fortnite and Gears of War.
But the firm also operates an online video game store, a bit like Steam.
You can buy PC games from the store, even if they weren’t made by Epic Games.
And the game-maker hosts an annual sale where you can bag large discounts (with up to three-quarters off the price of some games).
When is the Epic Games Store Spring Sale? Start date and time
The sale begins on February 11, 2021.
At 11am PT / 7pm GMT, Epic Games will host a stream on its Twitch channel.
This will show off some of the games coming to the store.
And the Spring Sale will begin at the same time, running right through to February 25.
Epic Games Store Spring Sale discounts – what game deals to expect
We don’t have a full list of deals yet, but we do know some of the offers that will be available.
You’ll be able to get 20% off Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, while Cyberpunk 2077 is down by 10%.
Star Wars Jedi: The Fallen Order is getting a mammoth 50% discount, and Star Wars: Squadrons is down by 40%.
Other highlights include SnowRunner (down 40%) and Hades (down 20%).
In other news, The Sun’s favourite alternative to a games console is the Oculus Quest 2 VR headset.
Grab a VR headset and you’ll be able to play the legendary Beat Saber – like Guitar Hero, but with lightsabers.
And Dell’s Alienware R10 Ryzen Edition is a gaming PC powerhouse that crushes both the new consoles.
