This 8-inch sized smart speaker was released back in 2019 and is now one of Amazon’s most popular smart devices.
Unlike the standard Echos and Echo Dots, these Alexa-powered devices come with a touchscreen.
We’re earmarking the Echo Show as a great gift for any older relatives out there who might appreciate a simple means of video-calling on a screen larger than a mobile phone.
But the Echo Show is a surprisingly versatile gizmo that can also stream from YouTube and Netflix and, like all of Amazon’s devices, can be connected to other smart devices around your home.
For instance, the Show can play the video feed from your Ring Doorbell, and the in-built Alexa will respond to all the usual commands, whether that’s announcing the news, making lists or setting alarms.
