EA FC 24 has just launched, and players are already discovering exploits in FIFA 23’s successor.
An X/Twitter user posted on Tuesday about a glitch in EA FC 24 that lets players score directly from kick-off.

User “SAF Tactician” wrote “New FIFA same broken mechanics”, as they posted a short video on how to perform the exploit.
A similar kick-off glitch has been discovered in EA FC 24’s predecessor, FIFA 23.
Here’s how the pull of the kick-off hack to score goals in EA Sports’ latest football game.
You pass the ball back from kick-off, and then use L1/LB to send the striker on a run.

Then, you do a give-and-go pass to a midfielder, and back to the original passer.
You then play a first time over the top through ball to the striker.
The other player’s defenders won’t try to stop you, giving you an opportunity to shoot and score.
It is no surprise that FIFA 23 had a similar hack, as the rebranded EA FC 24 is rather an incremental update to the previous title and not an entirely new game built from the ground up.

EA Sports had to rebrand the series after ending its long-term partnership with football’s top governing body over the use of the FIFA name.
The original poster of the glitch clarified that in EA FC 24, the trick is not as reliable as in last year’s game.
A few repliers confessed to falling victim to the exploit during EA FC 24 matches already.
SAF Tactician and other commenters also added that the ‘hack’ is easy to defend by switching to the centre-back.
This led some of the players to dismiss the “trick” as a skill issue on the part of the defending player.
EA Sports FC 24 released on September 29, 2023, after up to seven days of early access for Ultimate Edition owners.
It is only a matter of time for players to discover more bugs and glitches that can give you an edge during matches.
