Advice columnist is seeking damages in civil lawsuit against former president for alleged 1990s sexual assault

The advice columnist E Jean Carroll is expected to face a tough cross-examination from Donald Trump’s lawyers on Thursday, following her searing testimony to a New York jury hearing her accusation of rape against the former president.

Carroll is seeking damages in her civil lawsuit for battery after Trump allegedly sexually assaulted her in a New York department store changing room in the 1990s.
