DUNELM is selling a hanging egg chair for £199 after Aldi’s one sold out in minutes last month.
The Singapore Hanging Egg Chair is being flogged by Dunelm just in time for summer, but you’ll have to fork out an extra £9.95 for delivery.
This means you’ll be paying just under £209 in total.
It’s not available for click and collect, so you won’t be able to order and collect it from your local store.
The chair itself is made out of rattan and is pictured with a fabric cushion.
It hangs from a chain attached to a metal base, making it perfect for swinging.
Shoppers have been going mad for Dunelm’s egg chair after it was posted on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group.
Hundreds of shoppers commented and liked the post, with many claiming they had ordered one for themselves.
One shopper said: “Love it!”
Another commented: “Here’s to relaxing at Easter in my chair.”
Dunelm’s chair costs an extra £50 more than Aldi’s sell-out one.
But many shoppers were furious after a “technical issue” meant Aldi’s chair went on sale early and sold out almost immediately in February.
The German discount supermarket said the chair would go on sale on February 28 at 8am under its Special Buy garden range section.
But the “technical issue” meant it had accidentally been launched before 8am, and many customers missed out on their chance of bagging one.
Angry shoppers took to Twitter to slam the shop for putting the chair up for sale earlier than what was advertised, saying they were “really disappointed”.
Dunelm and Aldi aren’t the only ones selling hanging egg chairs.
Bargain store B&M is selling one for £125 but it looks like it’s already sold out online.
However, there’s a pricier one the retailer is flogging for £175 that is still available on the website.
Robert Dyas, Amazon and Wayfair are also selling hanging egg chairs of their own – we’ve rounded up the cheapest ones being sold.
Stacey Solomon showed off an indoor egg chair she snapped up for £25.
Aldi’s new garden range includes the sell-out hanging egg chair, as well as other items for green-fingered shoppers.
