WHILE for many the bank holiday weekend is a chance to sit back and relax, for others its an opportunity to get some much needed DIY done.

If you’re planning on getting jobs done around the house this weekend, read this so you know all of your favourite DIY stores’ opening times.

Are DIY stores open over the August Bank Holiday?

B&Q

B&Q has told The Sun its opening hours on Monday 30 will be the same as usual.

The DIY store is open 7am – 8pm.

Screwfix

Screwfix is running business as usual on Bank Holiday Monday.

Screwfix’s normal opening hours Monday-Friday are 7am – 8pm.

Wickes

Wickes is normally open from 7am – 8pm and this isn’t set to change for Bank Holiday Monday.

Wickes announced at the start of May that it will be limiting the number of people into their stores though.

You must wear a face mask and social distance in every store.

B&Q

B&Q deliveries are still operating across the entire Bank Holiday weekend.

You can also click and collect.

Screwfix

Screwfix is operating deliveries to stores, sites and homes over the Bank Holiday weekend.

It is expecting delays though.

Wickes

Wickes is still delivering and providing click and collect on Bank Holiday Monday.

It is only able to offer restricted services at the minute and have a list of postcodes they are not delivering to.
